MAGNIFICENT AWARDS “ROME AS HOLLYWOOD” 2022

The first edition of the 2022 Gran Galà del Cinema Award will be held on December 12 at the St Regis in Rome

Among the illustrious guests awarded in the first edition of the Magnifica Awards “Roma come Hollywood” – Gran Galà del Cinema Award 2022, also the French contemporary artist Richard Orlinski.

The objective of the Magnifica Awards “Roma come Hollywood” – Gran Galà del Cinema Award 2022 – conducted by Claudio Guerrini and Tiziana Zampieri, who is also the creator and producer of the event – is to reward the excellence of Cinema, during a ceremony which will be held on December 12 at the St Regis in Rome.

The organization of the Magnifica Awards “Roma come Hollywood” has decided to award a special prize to the French sculptor Richard Orlinski for his surprising and colorful works that have met with worldwide success. For several years, Orlinski – who is also an acclaimed music producer – has created his own universe inhabited by crocodiles, panthers, wolves, bears and kongs, which are part of the concept he calls “Born Wild”.

“Our kermesse, in addition to rewarding big names in the world of cinema – such as Ornella Muti and Rocco Papaleo – also aims to pay homage to the excellence of other important sectors, such as that of the art world, where Richard Orlinski has always collected extraordinary consensus so as to appear in the top 10 of the best-selling French artists in the world” declare Tiziana Zampieri together with Marco Canino, project partner.

Twinned to the Magnifica Awards “Roma come Hollywood” project, Marateale – Basilicata International Award, led by the artistic director Nicola Timpone and by the president Antonella Caramia who, for the occasion, will present a “in winter” version of the historic event, delivering an award to the talent and to the entities that have contributed to the success and rise of the event over the course of the fourteen editions.
